As you might imagine, my Christmas lists are sometimes quite unusual... This year I asked Santa for a bit of Gallium.  This pure elemental metal has a bright silvery luster and crystalizes in strange shapes.  It's most amazing property is that it's melting point is a mere 85 degrees! This means Gallium will melt in your hand!  It's not cheap, so this is ~40 grams of the stuff.  If it were cheap I would have bought a gallon!!!

Oh, and marbles and ball bearings float in it! :D
